This section is subject to your region. Let me tell you a quick story. I used to love racing “Modern Vintage” in the MRA. They had scads of competitors and the racing was fierce, yet fun. When I came out of retirement and joined the SMRI, Modern Vintage called me back. So I found a great little SRAD GSXR750 and cut loose. The problem was, no one else in the SMRI raced Modern Vintage. Thanks to folks like Tracy though, vintage racing in the SMRI is one of the healthiest grids in the paddock. While I have to rest on the earlier segment regarding camaraderie, the competition is still fierce and you really are racing while you're on the track.
