Camaraderie.

The fellowship among the vintage guys in the pit area is unsurpassed. While it is true that someone has to be the “village idiot” in every group. The level of idiocy in vintage racing is minimal. The racing can be close but is generally considered “gentleman's racing”, meaning that Ricky Roadracer is not apt to take out your front wheel to stick a pass. Motorcycle Roadracing in general is conducive to good pit morale, but there is that certain friendly quality that you get in the vintage class.
